PAY 2014

Following a membership consultation on the Employers’ 1% offer made in June 2014, the Executive Council met recently and confirmed that:

•    Members had reluctantly accepted that the Union should agree to the 1% as a pay settlement for 2014-2015.

Call for Industrial Action

Members have been informed of the results of the ballots for industrial action short of a strike and strike action.

Members have also been informed of the industrial action short of a strike ongoing at present.

Members will have been following closely the developments in the campaign for justice for the families of those killed and the members injured at Marlie Farm.  Members will have read previous circulars and will also have seen the article in the most recent edition of Firefighter.
